According to East Millinocket Police, at about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, an officer observed a vehicle in the driveway of a residence on Granite Street in Millinocket, and recognized the occupant of the vehicle as 47-year-old Lisa Lamson of East Millinocket.
Police said that Lamson, who the officer learned was at the Granite Street residence to pick up a friend and to give her a ride, had an active warrant out for her arrest for a previous drug charge.
The officer discovered that Lamson’s friend, 33-year-old Allyson Porter of Millinocket, also had a warrant out for her arrest.
East Millinocket Police officers then attempted to contact Porter inside of the residence, but according to police Porter tried to evade officers by hiding in a bedroom.
Upon entering the residence, officers located Porter and a male later identified as Jamie Vandegraaf, 33, of Augusta, who was on probation at the time for robbery and aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
While the officers spoke with Porter and Vandegraaf, they reportedly observed Vandegraaf attempting to hide drug paraphernalia and other items.
During a subsequent search of the residence, officers located over 30 grams of suspected fentanyl, two grams of methamphetamine, a loaded handgun, and “other items consistent with drug trafficking,” police said.
Police also contacted the Maine Department of Health and Human Services to assist in removing a child who was present in the residence.
Lisa Lamson was arrested on her active warrant, and subsequently charged with violation of conditions of release after testing positive for drugs.
Allyson Porter was arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, endangering the welfare of a child, and violation of conditions of release, in addition to her active arrest warrant.
Jamie Vandegraaf was arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of schedule drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and violation of probation.
Police said on Thursday that the investigation into the matter is still ongoing due the residence potentially being located within a drug-free school zone.
If the Maine Democrats had their way, all narcotics would be LEGAL by now. Leading the way to the BOTTOM.
Just look at these people – if you’re a criminal, try not to look like one, good grief. Of course, I blame the state of Maine for encouraging drug use – are the politicians on some kind of payroll we don’t know about?
