The Ringmaster has all the answers to the questions no one is asking
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages… Let me have your ear for a short moment to enlighten you about a new epidemic that has fallen on your home… It can’t be seen and can’t be heard and there are no outward symptoms whatsoever…
If you’re afraid, that’s good. It shows you care… Now huddle around me and prepare to listen close… On your way into the big tent, drop one thin dime, just one tenth of a dollar into this hat, and prepare to learn of my solution to one of the great mysteries of the world…
I am going to explain how your heritage and traditions are killing you and your kids… What’s that? Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain… You have no gun problem in Maine you say? Are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes? Now pay the man and come in to my tent… You have a LOT to learn…

Here we are again. People coming into Maine, from away, telling us how to live better and escape the problems we don’t even know we have.
Imagine this:
A few short years, ago we lived in Maine. It was a peaceful place with one of the lowest violent crime rates in the entire Nation. It also held the distinction of being one of the states with the most firearms owned per capita. The weather was beautiful and no one had a care. We worked hard during the week and enjoyed the amazing outdoors with our families on the weekends.
Constitutional carry was the law of the land, and bad guys didn’t do many bad guy things, because good guys were not easy targets. When they tried, they would often be immediately stopped, unlike in big cities like New Your City where only the good guys were disarmed. If only we could go back there…
So, what changed? Well, nothing. It is the same carefree, beautiful place, except large political groups and paid petition circulators from New Your City and other urban wastelands spent millions of dollars to explain to us how bad it really was here. They bought tens of thousands of signatures to put a question on our ballot to usurp our freedoms in the name of the safety we already enjoyed.
They called it “universal background checks,” and it changed the way we live.
Sure, that sounds like a dream taken on its face, but under that top hat and layers of makeup, the face is much different than the one we are seeing in the commercials.
“The criminals won’t be able to buy guns” they say. But they don’t say that it’s already illegal for criminals to buy guns.
“Everyone will have to go through a background check” they say. But they forget to say everyone going to a gun dealer already has to have a background check.
“This is to stop illegal gun sales” they say, but they forget to say it pertains to EVERY SINGLE TIME a gun changes hands, even to loan it to a lifetime friend for a hunting trip.
“There are exemptions for family members” they say. But they don’t mention it doesn’t cover blended families and non-traditional families, even if they have been together for decades. They also forget to say if Great-Grandpa wants to leave little Billy a rifle in his passing, it will be illegal unless little Billy can pass a background check and get permission from the federal government.
It seems they forget to say a LOT of things.
The bottom line is that we don’t have any problems, and we don’t need their out-of-state solutions to problems we don’t have. They are spending five to eight million dollars (yeah, that’s MILLIONS) to sell their “solution” to Maine voters before the November elections with “no-million dollars” on the other side. We are on our own in this David vs. Goliath fight.
Please visit http://www.ubcbadforme.com and see all the facts for yourself. Here you will find something the other side isn’t showing you, a copy of the law. It is here, in all its splendor with notes about each section, exposing their propaganda. Look at it, print it and share it everywhere you can. We own the truth, and we need to get it in front of as many people as possible.
Please DO pay attention to the man behind the curtain and look into this proposed new law for yourself. The Maine we love and cherish is still here, for now, but it may be altered forever if left “for sale” to the billionaires, as it is now.
